Fans have given their favorite idols an abundant of presents such as iPads, albums, clothes, bags, jewelries, and etc. Over the years, fans have gone as far as making donations in their biases name, which has gotten immense praise from netizens and others.
One particular Vietnamese Super Junior fan has given leader Leeteuk a very unique gift recently. This ELF purchased a star for Leeteuk! Now Leeteuk and his fans can truly say he is a shining star. Leeteuk is the 4th Super Junior member to have a star in his name.
Super Junior Donghae received a star on Valentine's Day and Heechul was the first to receive a star on his birthday last year. Eunhyuk also received a star in his name. It's one of the picture that I've got . .

I know! It's just WOW! That's a unique gift. But, don't you think it's just wasting your money just for a piece of paper? Because I've read on some website that these star businesses are not affiliated, no matter what they claim, with the International Astronomical Union. The International Astronomical Union is a scientific enterprise and does not engage in the selling of stars or star names. In fact, they try to discourage people from throwing down their hard earned money on these certificates.
The IAU does not recognize the names that are given for any of the stars named by such enterprises. The stars that have been discovered thus far by scientists are simply given a coordinate number and will remain as such.
If you ask someone at the IAU "how much does it cost to buy a star," your answer will undoubtedly be "a star cannot be bought." Period.
Even millionaires and billionaires cannot afford to buy stars and name them. The simple reason is that it would be too confusing to let just anyone name a star, especially since stars can be seen from every corner of the earth. That means that stars would be in every language imaginable. This would make it very difficult for astronomers to keep all of the discovered stars in a database that everyone could understand. Instead, stars are assigned coordinates in the sky.
For me, no matter what, even though it is certified or not, SUPER JUNIOR will always shines like a star in ELF's heart (including me of course) ^^
